Our Campaigns

As part of the Lincoln Anti-Poverty Strategy, we have delivered a number of campaigns:

The Making Lincoln Living Wage Campaign

  • This is an ongoing campaign that seeks to encourage employers in Lincoln to pay the Living Wage, ban the use of zero hour contracts (except in cases where they may be beneficial to the employee), and use Living Wage Suppliers. For more information on this campaign click here.

The 2015/16 Helping Hands Christmas Campaign

  • This campaign ran from November 2015 – January 2016 and sought to promote money, benefits and debt advice organisations that provided free and impartial advice to people at risk of financial pressures over the Christmas period. The campaign was supported by 22 organisations including schools, advice providers, food banks, shops, and many more. To see the campaign posters click here.

The 2015 Helping Hands Summer Campaign

  • This campaign ran from July 2015 – September 2015 and sought to promote money, benefits and debt advice organisations that provide free and impartial advice to people at risk of poor health and poverty. The campaign was supported by every GP in the city, along with Lincolnshire Co-operative Pharmacies and Lloyds Pharmacy.

The 2014/15 Say No To High Cost Borrowing Campaign

  • This campaign ran from October 2014 – January 2015 and sought to encourage people to avoid using high cost lenders, and instead seek help and support throughout the Christmas period. The campaign was supported by more than 30 partners including schools, advice providers, food banks, shops and many more. It also received regional and national recognition.
