Have you thought about your pension?

Posted on 24th May, 2016 by Lincoln Against Poverty

Since 6 April 2015, pensions have changed giving you more freedom to choose what to do with your pension pot.

Pension Wise is a government service that will help you go through your options so you can make informed decisions about your pension that are best for you and your family.

You can get information and guidance online at www.pensionwise.gov.uk. You can also book an appointment with an impartial guidance specialist on the phone or face-to-face.

Citizens Advice is providing face-to-face Pension Wise guidance from over 500 locations across England and Wales.

Lincoln & District Citizens Advice offers appointments at Lincoln, Boston, Gainsborough, Grantham, Louth, Newark, Skegness, Sleaford, Spalding, Stamford and Worksop.

If you:

  • Are aged 50 or over, and
  • Have a defined contribution pension. These are not final salary or career average pensions, and
  • Have not had a Pension Wise appointment before.

Call 0800 138 8292 to book a free face to face appointment at your local Citizens Advice.
