Free course on retail training

Get into retail is a free four-week employability course offering training and work experience to help people progress with a career in retail.

This programme is delivered in partnership with Lincolnshire Co-operative who will be delivering training and offering work placements.

Those attending will:

  • Learn about the retail industry and gain significant work experience in a Lincolnshire Co-op store
  • Receive training in customer service, food safety and hygiene, responsible alcohol retailing and manual handling
  • Improve employability skills and take part in mock interviews
  • Gain increased access to employment and apprenticeship progression routes
  • Take part in an end of programme celebration event
  • Receive information about retail careers and six months follow on support from The Prince’s Trust

If you are aged 16-25 and unemployed, there’s a taster day taking place on January 13.
