Financial Capability Strategy for the UK will be hosting a Financial Capability Week from 14th to 20th November 2016. The week will be themed on raising awareness of the importance of financial capability, what it means and the organisations involved in making a change.
Hundreds of organisations in the UK are already involved in tackling low financial capability and are aware of the challenges in raising awareness of making sure people are prepared for financial shocks and able to achieve their financial goals. It is hoped the week will help to amplify these messages so large-scale change can be achieved.
If your organisation would like to support the Financial Capability Week, the Money Advice Service has created a useful toolkit. The toolkit includes event ideas, press release templates and ideas for using social media. To access the toolkit, please click here.
If your organisation would like to get involved in Financial Capability Week, the Financial Capability Week team would be pleased to hear from you. The team can be contacted via the following e-mail address firstname.lastname@example.org.
