Could you help make a family in need’s Christmas a little bit brighter this year?
The Christmas Sacks appeal, led by Bridge Church in Lincoln, aims to help hundreds of families in the city who are struggling to provide for their families either due to financial difficulty or ill health.
They’re collecting donations of new or like new items including:
Bridge Church was able to help over 300 families last year with Christmas sacks and food hampers. The families are referred to the church by professionals who are working with them to help them out of poverty.
In addition to making donations, Bridge Church also need volunteers to help collect, sort, wrap and deliver the presents.
