Did you know there is a Toy Library in the heart of Lincoln?

Posted on 7th December, 2017 by Lincoln Against Poverty

This brilliant resource allows children to enjoy soft and sensory play in a safe, calm environment. With over 900 toys that can be hired by our members at very low cost, they help families in our community by preventing social isolation and encouraging children to learn through play. They have free parking too!

The Toy Library was originally set up in 1985 as an organisation which would give children with disabilities access to costly sensory toys. The Toy Library has since diversified allowing access to all and in 2014 it joined Children’s Links, a national charity based here in Lincolnshire.

Lincoln Toy Library and Soft Play is a hive of activity offering everything from toy loans, soft play and socialising to arts, crafts & children’s parties!

They are currently working with the support of local families whose children have additional needs and physical disabilities.
