Centre for Social Justice Awards

Posted on 29th September, 2017 by Lincoln Against Poverty

The Centre for Social Justice is looking for community-based charities and voluntary groups that are preventing poverty or helping people and families caught in damaging situations, to turn their lives around. The Awards aim to celebrate and reward some of the best initiatives from throughout the UK that are enabling people to find a sustainable way out of the situations they are in. Groups should be addressing the causes of poverty, not just the symptoms.

Each winning organisation will receive a cash prize of £10,000.

The 2018 categories are:

  • Social Resilience
  • Responsible Business
  • Education, Employment and Skills
  • Family
  • Social Enterprise

Grassroots charities and voluntary organisations from local communities throughout the UK can apply.

To be eligible, applicants must be based in the UK and have an annual turnover of less than £3 million.

The deadline for applications to the 2018 Awards is 13 October 2017 (5pm).
