Why do we have a Lincoln Living Wage Campaign?
The Living Wage is calculated to meet the basic cost of Living in the UK. We want this to be a standard paid to employees in Lincoln. The campaign is designed to encourage as many organisations as possible to pay their employees the Living Wage. Lincoln is a city of ambition and growth, and we want as many people to share in Lincoln’s prosperity as possible. The Living Wage enables this, and promotes the city as an attractive and modern place to live, work, and do business.
Who runs the campaign?
The campaign is run by the Lincoln Living Wage Forum, which is made up of representatives from the private, voluntary, public, educational and trade union sectors. It is an open forum that aims to be inclusive to all that have a stake in the city, so if your organisation pays the Living Wage, and would like to help steer the Lincoln Living Wage Campaign, please get in touch using the details on the Contact Us page.
